I set these up for three main reasons:
- It was often gorgeous outside in Cambridge, and my female personal training clients (I also work one-on-one with women) were very happy training outside in the beautiful parks that we have here in this city. I knew childcare was often a problem for single mums (like me) so decided to create something that could work with children aswell, and what works better that being in the great outdoors, where the children can play happily at the same time as seeing Mum exercising.
- There were NO fitness Boot Camp’s in Cambridge exclusively for women. Most Fitness Boot Camps are designed for men, yell at their members, and some even try to make their members vomit – definitely NOT CAMBRIDGE Boot Camp!
- I’m addicted to going to fitness sessions as are many other women but wanted to work-out outside, and create something that I myself would like to attend but needed something more than a gym could offer. That is why I created the private members interactive support site with a huge support network of women and a full (and very successful) Nutritional program to follow

As we continue to rapidly grow Cambridge Boot Camp’s we strive to sustain an outstanding experience which emphasises fun friendly fitness confidence. ??Our four core values are:
- Fun. We are always seeking to make the Cambridge Boot Camp experience more fun via new interesting and exciting exercises, cardio drills, music, motivational incentives, and nutritional ideas.
- Friendly. We do our best to create an empowering and supportive environment for women where they can share, grow, and have fun.
- Fitness. We’re all about getting our female members fitness results!
- Confidence. As a consequence of all of the above, our ladies grow in confidence in ALL aspects of their lives
Through our four cores values we create value for our participants, whether you want to simply have fun exercising while maintaining your ideal body, enjoy the camaraderie of fellow members and your friendly Instructor, or really want fitness results such as losing lose fat/inches, and have the confidence in knowing that you can achieve your ideal body.
I will be with you every step of the way, and as a female I understand the ‘issues’ us women have with our bodies. I absolutely pride myself on these boot camps and can say with my hand on my heart that it will be the best decision you ever made :0)

I love my job. I gain great satisfaction from seeing people achieve their goals and be the person they have always wanted to be. I live and breathe fitness: it is my passion, my hobby and my joy. I used to be very unfit and unaware of how unhealthy I was. So at the ripe age of 21, I kicked myself in to reality. It wasn’t until I became a Personal Trainer in Cambridge that I felt I had succeeded in my journey… that was until I joined Cherry Hinton Bootcamp! I enjoyed participating in the camps and really took my fitness to the next level. When Charlie asked me if I wanted to come on board and start my own camp at Histon Village, I could not say yes quick enough! I have learnt so much from Charlie and it has helped me flourish and grow to be the Personal Trainer I have always wanted to be. My fitness and nutrition knowledge far outweighs those of many in the industry. I am constantly increasing my skills by attending courses and learning from the best in my field.
I run the Histon Village bootcamp, I am a Personal Trainer, I teach Boxercise, Studio Cycling and Kettlebells. I also compete in half marathons & 6 mile races with my first marathon coming up in 2012, which I am running with two current clients.
Can it really get any better then this?

I am a Canadian temporarily living in the UK, since completing my Masters of Science in Genetics. I assist Charlie with the administration responsibilities for Cambridge Bootcamps, including event planning and email correspondence. My deep love of science and research means that she spends a lot of time online and in the library investigating popular ‘nutritional plans’ and athletic nutritional requirements. Seeing that I studied worms during my M.Sc., I don’t think its so surprising that Inchworms are my favorite bootcamp exercise!
I love running and completed my first marathon in Rome in March. I am training for a couple of half marathons in the fall as well as some adventure races here and there – adventure races rock!
I am a certified Extreme Kettlebell Instructor (EKI) and am currently gaining my certification in Exercise to
Music, which in addition to making me more graceful, will allow me to embark on my personal training/bootcamp life experience.

Starting from an early age, I have always loved sport. I played handball through childhood and high school and it was clear that sport and team work made me so happy and complete. After graduating in Physical Education in Serbia, I
wanted to take a break and enjoy my life. I ended up having lots of fun as a sports entertainer in holiday resorts in Greece, Cyprus and Croatia, and since then I can’t imagine doing exercise without some fun involved!
When I moved to the UK a year ago, I felt the timing was good for me to start training people and helping them learn how to change their lives through living healthier and, as a result, being happier
!
Since meeting Charlie and becoming involved with Cambridge Bootcamps, I am in love with the idea of women-only bootcamps. The exercises that we do in bootcamps will change your body for the better, and I am truly looking forward to sharing this journey of outdoor burpees, joy and fun with all of our Cambridge Bootcamp girls together!
Adrijana is a personal trainer recently qualified to teach kettlebells. She is our trainer for the Coldham’s Common camp.
